This Rug is made from all natural fibers, with the largest portion being sheep wool.
You can often find trims of goat hair and cotton.
MAKER
This rug was handmade for the architecture of the makers house and not for the commercial market. The maker learnt techniques from her ancestors and used these to proudly make this rug for her own home.
She did her magic on the loom -literally- incorporating ancient symbols to deflect the evil eye and bring good luck to them -the maker- that is now passed down to the future owner of the rug.
